Time: 09.30 – 15.30
Location: New Forest Hotel, Higginstown Nr Athlone

One day workshop on the Curlew crisis in Ireland. There are fewer than 150 breeding pairs left and they are in imminent danger of extinction.

The morning will consist of a series of short presentations on the state of curlews across Ireland, both in the North and in the Republic. In the afternoon there will be solutions-based discussions and a plan for the way forward. Please find attached a draft outline of the day.

This workshop is a vital step towards halting the extinction of this iconic wading bird in Ireland and we would value your contribution. We are inviting a broad range of people who have an interest in the conservation of Curlews.

To register your place, please use this form.

There is a limit of 100 places and they will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
