Fethard Walled Town Medieval Festival 2008

Fethard Walled Town Medieval Festival 2008 took place on the 1st day of National Heritage Week 2008. The festival included a diverse range of events and appealed to all age groups. Fethard, Co. Tipperary received a grant of €10,000 from the Heritage Council to facilitate this event and the result is an excellent example of the way in which a town's walls can provide the basis for a socially and economically beneficial event.
