County Sligo Heritage Plan 2016-2020 Have Your Say in the Future of our Heritage!

Pre Draft Public Consultation

9th March - 17th April 2015

Sligo County Council, together with the County Sligo Heritage Forum, is preparing the third Heritage Plan for Sligo and is seeking your views on the key priorities and opportunities for Sligo’s heritage over the next five years. The Heritage Plan will address natural, architectural, archaeological and cultural heritage.

A pre draft online survey has been designed to obtain the views of the public on the issues/projects that should be addressed in the third Sligo Heritage Plan. We want to hear from you, whether you are an individual citizen or part of a heritage group, community organisation, a business, a public body or heritage specialist. With your assistance, the Plan will identify the heritage potential of Sligo and the requirements needed to sustain and enhance it. Please help us by taking a few minutes to complete this survey. Your views are important to us.

You are invited to make a submission by completing a pre-draft questionnaire online at

or by email to , or by post to Heritage Plan Submission, Heritage Office, Sligo County Council, City Hall, Quay Street, Sligo.
